What type of information we have

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the purposes of supporting your search for a new role. NeoSEARCH will hold information that is shared with us via your application, CV, verbal conversations and Candidate Overview Report as well as from email conversations we have with you. We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios: online platforms and resources where this information has been made available in order to help assess your suitability to particular job roles. Information we hold may include name, address, job title, email address, telephone number, employer, working status and any information shared with us by you about career intentions.

How we get the information and why we do we have it

We collect information from you via telephone and digital exchanges as well as from online platforms and websites which may share your data. You have the right to withdraw consent for NeoSEARCH to hold your data at any time by informing NeoSEARCH, via email at matt@neosearch.co.uk. Our lawful basis for holding this information falls under consent legislation via the European Data Protection Board (EDPB). Also, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting matt@neosearch.co.uk.

What we do with the information

We may share your information with potential employers in order to establish application suitability. This may be both within and outside of the EU, depending on the location of the role.

How we store your information

Your information is held securely on a password protected computer. It is held in digital files and is also backed up through password protected cloud storage. We will keep your information until you are no longer interested in our services and you inform us, via email, that you would like us to remove your data. Following this, within seven days, NeoSEARCH will permanently delete all of your data in both our digital files and in our cloud based storage.

Your data protection rights

Under the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) you have the right to withdraw consent at any time by letting NeoSEARCH know in writing via matt@neosearch.co.uk. At which point your data will be permanently deleted by NeoSEARCH within seven days of receipt of your request.

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
